English were divided in two parts:

1. Who says that language should be english
these were again in two parts ---
a. One says that medium should be english and we will encourage the traditional education
b. Second said that medium as well as matters should be westorn(munoro, willson)
2. Other said it should be Hindi(H.T.Prinseg and H.H.Vilson)


Then Macaulay came and said all this indian literature is full waste so apply english evrywhere
they have downward trend to educaiton---

Teach high society and then it will reach to lowere by rinsing.
